The Church of Christ hosts a variety of special events throughout the course of the year. We hold a General Conference once a year to conduct the business of the Church and a week long Youth Camp each summer. There are regional Reunions, Rallies and Retreats that are sponsored by the Local churches. These events are open to anyone who wishes to attend.

The 2026 Church of Christ Men’s Retreat is set for September 18–20 in Branson, Mo.

Our 2026 theme is 1 Peter 3:15: “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.”

The 2020 General Conference of the members of the Church of Christ will be held at the church headquarters, 200 S River, Independence, MO. There will be a Sacrament Service at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 5th and the business sessions will begin on Monday, April 6th at 9:00 a.m. The Conference will last until all business has been addressed. ***Note: There will be two days of fasting and prayer prior to this Conference on April 3rd and 4th, with Prayer Meetings held at the church headquarters.***
